expected at Book 'Em North Carolina on February 23, 2013. Click on the

Judy
S. Walter is a retired high school
English teacher from Chambersburg,
PA. A life long interest in
nutritional supplementation and her
best friend's bout with cancer
resulted in her first book,
Winning
the Battle: A Self-Help Guide for
Cancer Patients. Two
more health related books followed
as well as a cookbook before Walter
shifted focus. Her next two books
revolve around one of her great
loves-cats.
Sammy, the Talking Cat
was a great hit at the 2012 Book 'Em
North Carolina. That has been
followed by
The Grey and White Stranger.
Her
next book is an outgrowth of one of
her teaching units and also a life
long interest in World War II and
the Holocaust. During her life
Walter has met a number of Holocaust
survivors and in their honor has
written
Nightmare in Europe.
Walter's interests include travel,
photography, cats, the beach,
reading and writing. She enjoys
visiting her daughter who lives in
the western part of the U.S. Walter
is a member of West Virginia
Writers, Maryland Writers'
Association and the Virginia
Holocaust Museum.
Bonnie Watson was born in
Richmond, VA with an interest in art and writing. She graduated
from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2005, having completed
several shorter works of fiction. In 2010, she published her
first novel, and has been diligently working on the series ever
since. Her love for medieval fantasy is apparent in much of her
artwork, and can be viewed, along with various other writing
projects, on her main website at

Nick Westfall is a Physical Educator with
Brunswick County Schools living in Holden Beach, North Carolina.
As an extremely energetic and enthusiastic teacher, Westfall
puts on various physically-active programs, including the SEARCH
5K – which has the motto he penned, "We can fight against
childhood obesity for FREE, so the race is FREE..."
Nick's passion for healthful living shares space
with his ability to write. "When you enjoy the completed project
enough, then you make a point to find time. All of the time
distractions like Facebook and T.V. become distanced by my
desire to write. Not to mention how good I feel about myself
afterwards...It's kind of like resisting the chocolate ice cream
and going for a run instead!"
Although his college professor, Jacob Babb, was
the first person to re-establish Westfall's love for reading,
his stepmother, Polly Westfall, has been the biggest influence
for his second passion. Westfall describes his adventure of
novel writing as a multi-step order of revisions. "For this
novel in particular, Polly has helped me let go of personal
details that I didn’t want to get rid of originally. After many
conversations and hair pulling, I know why she wanted me to
change it. All in all, I am very proud of this novel and I can’t
wait for people to get their hands on it!”
Westfall’s next novel is about a P.E. teacher
(How convenient!). He also writes short stories on his blog at
www.nickwestfall.blogspot.com. You can find him running
along the sand of Holden Beach or speaking on one of his
motivational speaking tours in North Carolina.

around the country. Brand new
